Terms of service
Last updated: June 29, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Gleam website at ipgleam.net, our customer console, our API, and any related products and services (together, the "Services"), provided by Gleam Connect Technology Limited ("Gleam", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in Hong Kong SAR.
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms, including the Acceptable Use rules in the section below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1.Eligibility and account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Services. If you register on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.
You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up, keep it up to date, and keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may ask for additional verification (KYC/KYB documentation) before granting or continuing access to certain features.
2.The Services
Gleam provides residential IP infrastructure and related tools intended for lawful commercial purposes, including brand protection, ad verification, price intelligence, SEO monitoring, market research, and quality-assurance workflows.
The Services are offered to verified businesses and professional users. We reserve the right to refuse service, suspend accounts, or decline transactions at our discretion.
We may update, enhance, or modify the Services at any time. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes that adversely affect paid plans.
3.Plans and billing
Gleam offers four Residential Proxies plans:
| Plan | Traffic | Validity period | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 5 GB | 30 days | $20 ($4/GB) |
| Advanced | 50 GB | 30 days | $175 ($3.5/GB) |
| Professional | 300 GB | 30 days | $900 ($3/GB) |
| Business | 1,000 GB | 60 days | $2,500 ($2.5/GB) |
All plans are one-time purchases with no automatic renewal and no recurring charges. You pay once for a defined traffic allowance and access window; when either is exhausted, the plan ends. To continue using the Services, you purchase a new plan from the console.
All prices are shown in U.S. Dollars and are exclusive of taxes, duties, and similar charges, which are your responsibility.
You authorize Gleam and our payment providers (including Stripe and PayPal) to charge your selected payment method for the amount due at checkout. No further charges occur unless you initiate a new purchase.
You can upgrade between Starter, Advanced, Professional, and Business at any time from the console. Any remaining balance on your current plan is credited toward the new plan on a pro-rata basis.
Unused traffic carries forward within the active plan window and expires when the window ends. Usage beyond your plan's traffic allowance is billed at your plan's standard per-GB rate; you can set usage alerts and hard caps in the console to prevent unexpected charges.
4.Refunds
We offer a refund within 7 days of purchase if all of the following are true:
- Less than 20% of the plan's bandwidth has been consumed;
- Less than 20% of the plan's duration has elapsed (for fixed-duration plans);
- The account is in good standing and has not violated our Acceptable Use rules.
To request a refund, email support@ipgleam.net with your order ID. We aim to respond within two business days, and approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within five business days. Bank or card network processing may add additional time before funds appear.
The following are not eligible for refund: plans where consumption exceeds the thresholds above; custom Enterprise contracts (which follow the refund terms in the signed Master Service Agreement); accounts suspended or terminated for violating these Terms; and chargebacks initiated without first contacting our support team.
5.Acceptable use
The following Acceptable Use rules form part of these Terms and apply to everyone who accesses the Services, including your employees, contractors, and end customers.
6.Permitted uses
The Services are intended for verified businesses and professional users carrying out lawful commercial activities, including:
- Brand protection and anti-counterfeiting monitoring;

- Market and consumer research using publicly available sources;
- Cybersecurity research, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning of assets you own or are authorized to test;
- Quality-assurance, localization, and software-testing workflows.
7.Prohibited uses
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Collect, store, or process personal data (including names, contact details, government IDs, financial data, health data, biometric data, or precise location) without a lawful basis under applicable data-protection laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or Hong Kong's PDPO;
- Bypass paywalls, DRM, login walls, CAPTCHAs deployed as security measures, or other technical access controls except where you have explicit authorization from the website operator;
- Conduct DDoS, credential stuffing, brute-force, SQL injection, or any other attack on third-party systems;
- Distribute malware, spyware, ransomware, or any code intended to damage or disrupt computer systems;
- Send spam, phishing communications, scam messages, or any other unsolicited bulk communications;
- Operate or distribute botnets, click-fraud schemes, ad-fraud schemes, or fake-engagement services;

- Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party;
- Violate the terms of service of any third-party website, application, or platform;
- Resell, sublicense, white-label, or otherwise redistribute the Services without our prior written consent;
- Use the Services to compete directly with Gleam by building a substantially similar proxy or IP-infrastructure product;
- Access the Services from, or route traffic to, jurisdictions subject to comprehensive sanctions (including those administered by OFAC, the EU, the UK, or HKMA);
- Engage in any activity that is illegal in your jurisdiction or in the jurisdiction of the end customer you serve.
8.Customer KYC
For Business and Enterprise plans, and for any account we reasonably believe presents elevated risk, we may require:
- Verified company registration documents;
- A written description of the use case and target websites;
- A named technical and business contact;
- Periodic re-verification.
We may decline or terminate any account that fails to complete KYC to our satisfaction.
9.Enforcement
We monitor for abuse using a combination of automated systems and human review. If we believe in good faith that you have breached these Acceptable Use rules, we may, without prior notice:
- Suspend or limit access to all or part of the Services;
- Terminate your account without refund;
- Preserve and disclose relevant information to law enforcement or affected parties as required by law.
10.Reporting abuse
If you believe the Services are being misused, please contact support@ipgleam.net with as much detail as possible. We investigate every credible report.
11.Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for the content of your queries, the use you make of any data you obtain through the Services, compliance with all laws and third-party agreements that apply to your activity, and maintaining a lawful basis for processing any personal data.
If your use involves processing personal data of EU, UK, or California residents, you act as the data controller and Gleam acts as a service provider. A Data Processing Addendum is available on request.
12.Intellectual property
The Services — including the software, documentation, branding, and content we provide — are owned by Gleam or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Services during your subscription or plan period.
You keep all rights to the data you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that data only to deliver and support the Services.
13.Service availability
We target 99.9% monthly uptime for paid plans. Formal service-level commitments and credits apply only to Business and Enterprise customers under a signed SLA. The Services are otherwise provided "as is" and "as available". We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice, and emergency maintenance without notice where needed.
14.Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gleam disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data obtained will be accurate, complete, or fit for your purposes.
15.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to these Terms will not exceed the fees you paid to Gleam in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
16.Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Gleam and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services in breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or any content or data you submit through the Services.
17.Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice and without refund, if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity, or pose a security risk to Gleam or other customers.
You can terminate your subscription at any time by canceling from the console. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as set out in the Refunds section. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including those on refunds, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive.
18.Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) under the HKIAC Administered Arbitration Rules in force at the time the notice of arbitration is submitted. The seat of arbitration is Hong Kong, the arbitration is conducted in English, and the tribunal consists of one arbitrator.
19.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we will provide additional notice through the website or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
20.Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Gleam regarding the Services. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of the right to do so later. Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, war, government action, internet or telecommunications failures, or cyber-attacks.
